Sony introduces its first-ever car at CES 2020. Titled Vision S, the EV redefines cars as entertainment space. Vision-S is made with the assistance of companies such as Bosch and Qualcomm. Austria-based Magna Styer supported the engineering of the vehicle. The basic prototype is a four-seater electric sedan.
Vision-S is equipped with 33 safety sensors inside and outside. It also comes with a 360 degree reality audio to enjoy an immersive audio experience. Panoramic dashboard screen for entertainment and driving info is another speciality of the vehicle. There are internal sensors to detect occupants.
The prototype is built on a newly designed AV platform. The focus will be on adaptability and cloud updating capabilities. Sony Vision-S can travel 0-62 MPH in 4.8 seconds, with top speed being 149 MPH.
