SCALATHON 2020, organised by Wadhwani Foundation, provided a different face to the business acceleration opportunities for small enterprises in the SME sector. The event was conducted in collaboration with Kerala Startup Mission and FICCI . SCALATHON, which aims at promoting entrepreneurship in the country through innovation and skill development, witnessed participation from a huge number of entrepreneurs.
A good platform for entrepreneurs including women:
The event held in Kochi has been the first edition of SCALATHON for SMEs in India. SCALATHON aims to generate jobs in the SME sector by providing entrepreneurial training to women entrepreneurs and startups.SCALATHON focused on enterprises with an annual turnover of above 5 Crores. Entrepreneurs could also do one-to-one interaction with experts of the Wadhwani Foundation on industry-related issues.
Wadhani Advantage App for SMEs:
Expert-led panel discussions covered topics like the growth of enterprises, SME leadership and stress-free management of ventures. The Wadhwani Advantage App for SME sectors was also introduced at the event. Selected startups and entrepreneurs from the state took part in SCALATHON 2020.
