As the curtains fall for the first circuit of ‘I Am An Entrepreneur’, organized by channeliam.com, the event has succeeded in making a permanent mark in Kerala’s startup ecosystem. The event shared some serious entrepreneurial issues and company-legal aspects required to be known while launching an enterprise. I Am An Entrepreneur, which talked about ideas for ventures and their potential, at the completion of fifth event, brought forth much positive feedback.
Topics, themes and venues
The Malappuram edition which discussed about business ideas for expatriates; Kannur edition which discussed entrepreneurship in MSME sector; Thrissur edition which explained feasible enterprise ideas; Cochin edition, which talked about entrepreneurship in import-export sector; Thiruvananthapuram edition that discussed strategies to be followed at the start of an enterprise, all these constituted the first circuit of I Am An Entrepreneur. The first circuit witnessed participation from over 800 young entrepreneurs, 25 expert sessions by 30 expert professionals and networking of entrepreneurial communities.
Co-operation from Government entities
The day long entrepreneurship workshops were conducted in collaboration with KSIDC, Kinfra, DIC and Gender Park. Interactive sessions from industry experts and specially designed help desks were beneficial for participants.
Business Clinic & Help Desks
Directus Advisory’s classes that outlined types of businesses; step-by-step completion of procedures; govt-legal formalities in business, were subject to appreciation from participants. Business Clinic, organized to support entrepreneurship ideas and one-to-one mentoring were also part of I Am An Entrepreneur. The event, which also explained how to expand marketing and sales digitally, is a reminder for upcoming enterprises in Kerala.
