The U.S Space agency would buy rocks, dirt and other lunar materials from the moon

Without violating the 1967 treaty that exempts celestial bodies from national claims of ownership

The mined materials would become the ‘sole property of NASA’ after purchase

NASA opened up its International Space Station to private entities last year
