Election Commission rolls out digital voter identity cards
‘e-EPIC’ launch coincided with National Voters’ Day
Users can download digital cards on mobile
Also available in self-printable form on computer from Voter Helpline mobile app
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad presented new cards to 5 new voters
Newly enrolled voters can download e-EPIC from January 25 to 31
Facility will be extended to all other electors from February 1 onwards
Govt also plans to digitise Aadhaar card, PAN card and driving licence
