Centre notifies ‘Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme’ to support startups
A corpus of Rs 945 cr has been set aside for the same
Funding can be used for proof of concept, prototype, product trials, market entry & commercialisation
It will be disbursed through selected incubators across India by 2025
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade will execute the scheme
The funding will be operational from April 1, 2021
An Experts Advisory Committee will monitor all processes
