Cabinet approves Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme worth Rs 12,195 crore
To boost telecom equipment manufacturing and Made-In-India gear
The incentives will also be deployed for facilitating telecom products export
The scheme expects to bring more than Rs 3,000 crore worth of investment
It will also generate direct and indirect employment opportunities
Total number of sectors covered under this programme stands at 13
