Chinese investor ‘Shunwei Capital’ exits Indian app ‘Koo’
Shunwei held about 9% stake in Koo’s parent firm Bombinate Technologies
Following the exit, Koo app’s existing investors bought half of Shunwei’s stake
They are Accel Partners, Blume Ventures, Kalaari Capital and 3one4 Capital
The remaining shares were purchased by angel investors
Koo app gained popularity after India’s strained relations with Twitter
