IT Dept to launch new e-filing portal for taxpayers on June 7
The existing web portal will be shut for six days between June 1-6
This is to migrate to the new portal from http://www.
Transition to the new portal, http://www.
Any work scheduled between the taxpayer and the assessing officer of the dept may be either moved to an earlier time or adjourned
Authorities say the new portal will be more user friendly
