Twitter reportedly partnered with RazorPay to launch ‘Twitter Tip Jar’ in India
An option for users to contribute to NGOs, journalists and other civil society groups
The feature aims to drive funds and support organisations that do the groundwork during critical times
Tips can be made through debit/credit cards, internet banking or the UPI
Currently, the feature is open to only a limited group of people
Twitter will neither charge users for this service nor take a commission
Besides Razorpay, it will add other payment gateways to its support list in the future
