Northway Motorsport has launched the EV conversion kit for Maruti Dzire and Tata Ace
Northway Motorsport is a Pune-based company
It has released kits for both passenger and commercial vehicles
These are plug and play kits, said the kit maker
One just has to remove the petrol engine from the Dzire and install the EV kit
Other functionalities will remain unaffected by this installation
For Dzire, there are two separate kits – Drive EZ and Travel EZ
They are for city and long-distance commutes
They offer a single-charge range of 120 km and 250 km respectively
Ace also has two ranges of conversion kits – Shaandaar and Damdaar
Damdaar offers a higher range on a single charge
The Shaandaar kit, primarily for intra-city commutes, offers a range of 80-100 km
Northway Motorsport has associated with Bhartiya EV for setting up charging infrastructure across India
