Bengaluru startup StanceBeam introduced smart Cricket bat sensor, StanceBeam Striker. The motion sensor device can be assembled at the handle of the cricket bat. StanceBeam Striker is a lightweight, portable sports activity tracking device. The device which works on IoT is equipped with an inbuilt battery. StanceBeam Striker placed on any bat, turns it into a smart tech device.
StanceBeam Striker provides data on 3D swing analysis, Bat Speed, Power Index & Swing Angels. The device provides real time, instant 360 degree batting performance data analytics. The device was launched by Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. Tested at Indian Institute of Science’s lab, Bengaluru, the data collected by the app can be viewed on the StanceBeam app in real time. Anil Kumble’s ‘Power Bat’, a Cricket bat powered by Microsoft Azure, works on similar lines. The smart cricket watch is priced at Rs. 7,999.
