കയറ്റുമതിയിലെ ചൈനീസ് മേധാവിത്വം തടയണമെന്ന് നിതിൻ ഗഡ്കരി. ഇന്ത്യയെ ഒരു സൂപ്പർ ഇക്കണോമിക് പവർ ആക്കുന്നതിന് രാജ്യം കയറ്റുമതി വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കണം. സമ്പദ് വ്യവസ്ഥയെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കാൻ കയറ്റുമതി വർധിപ്പിച്ച് ഇറക്കുമതി കുറയ്ക്കണം. ഇറക്കുമതിക്കുള്ള ബദൽ മാർഗങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്താനുള്ള സമയാണ് ഇത്: ഗ‍ഡ്കരി ആത്മനിർഭർ ഭാരത് അഭിയാൻ ഇതാണ് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നതെന്നും ഗഡ്കരി.  ഇതിനായി ചെറുകിട വ്യവസായങ്ങളെയും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെയും കേന്ദ്രം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കും. ലാൻഡ് ബാങ്കും സോഷ്യൽ മൈക്രോ ഫിനാൻസ് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂഷനും തുടങ്ങും. കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി നിതിൻ ഗഡ്കരിയാണ് കേന്ദ്ര തീരുമാനം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. HD DVD പോർട്ടുള്ള ലാപ്ടോപ്പുകൾ ഒരുകാലത്ത് Toshibaയുടെ കുത്തകയായിരുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തെ 2200 കർഷക സംഘങ്ങൾക്ക് 1000 കോടിരൂപ നൽകി കേന്ദ്രം.1 ലക്ഷം കോടിയുടെ കാർഷിക വികസന ഫണ്ട് പ്രധാനമന്തി ട്രാൻസ്ഫർ ചെയ്തു. അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിനായി സൊസൈറ്റികൾ ഈ ഫണ്ട് വിനിയോഗിക്കും. Agriculture Credit Societies, farmer producer organisations എന്നിവർക്കാണ് ഫണ്ട് ലഭിച്ചത്. കർഷകർക്ക് ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങൾ സംഭരിക്കാനും വിൽക്കാനുമുള്ള സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കാനാണ് ഫണ്ട്. ഇതോടൊപ്പം 8.5 കോടി കർഷകർക്ക് ₹17,000 കോടിയും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
