ബംഗലൂരു ബേസ്ഡ് B2B ഇകൊമേഴ്സ് പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോമായ Udaanന് 585 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍ നിക്ഷേപം. കുറഞ്ഞ വിലയില്‍ പ്രൊഡക്ടുകള്‍ വില്‍ക്കാന്‍ രാജ്യത്തെ ചെറുകിട ഇടത്തരം സംരംഭങ്ങളെ Udaan സഹായിക്കുന്നു. Tencent, Altimeter, ഫൂട്ട്പാത്ത് വെന്‍ച്വേഴ്സ്, ഹില്‍ഹൗസ്, GGV ക്യാപിറ്റല്‍, Citi വെന്‍ച്വേഴ്സ് എന്നിവരാണ് നിക്ഷേപകര്‍. പുതിയ ഫണ്ടിംഗോടെ Udaan വാല്വേഷന്‍ 2.5 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍ മുതല്‍ 3 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍ വരെയായേക്കും. 2016 മുതല്‍ 870 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറാണ് Udaan ഫണ്ടിംഗ് നേടിയത്.
Medtech startup Inito earns US patent for its home diagnostics technology. Bengaluru-based Inito is India’s first Y-Combinator backed medtech startup. Its Flat-lens allows Inito device to perform lab-grade diagnostic tests at home using a smartphone. Inito’s AI-based app collects data to understand cycle variations for every woman. Cognizant ന്റെ രണ്ട് ലക്ഷത്തി എണ്‍പ്പത്തിഎണ്ണായിരം ജീവനക്കാരില്‍ 2 ലക്ഷം പേര്‍ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളവരാണ്.
ലോജിസ്റ്റിക് സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പ് Delhiveryയില്‍ 3.28 ശതമാനം വരെ സ്റ്റേക് സ്വന്തമാക്കാന്‍ Softbank. Delhiveryയില്‍ 22.44% സ്റ്റേക് നിലവില്‍ സോഫ്റ്റ്ബാങ്കിനുണ്ട്. സോഫ്റ്റ്ബാങ്കിന്റെ 28900 കോടി രൂപ നിക്ഷേപം ഡെലിവറിയുടെ വാല്വേഷന്‍ 1.5 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറായി ഉയര്‍ത്തി. 2011ല്‍ ആരംഭിച്ച Delhivery 2000 സിറ്റികളിലാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത്.

Cognizant crosses 1 Lakh woman employees, 75K of them from India. Cognizant is a US-based multinational IT services provider. The proportion of women employees in Cognizant in Tier-II cities is reaching 50%. Out of 2.88 Lakh employees of the firm, 2 Lakh are based in India. Cognizant aims to employ at least 100,000 women around the world by 2020.
