സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് സിറ്റീസ് മിഷന് ‘പ്രോഗ്രസ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് കാര്‍ഡ്’ തയാറാക്കാന്‍ കേന്ദ്രം. ജീവിത സാഹചര്യം, മുനിസിപ്പല്‍ പെര്‍ഫോമന്‍സ് ഇന്‍ഡക്സ്, കാലാവസ്ഥ എന്നീ ഘടകങ്ങളാണ് പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത്. 100 നഗരങ്ങളെയാണ് ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ റാങ്കിങ്ങ് നടത്തുക. 2015ലാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് സിറ്റീസ് മിഷന് ലോഞ്ച് ചെയ്തത്. പദ്ധതിയോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് 1,62,000 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ടെണ്ടറിന് കേന്ദ്രം അനുമതി നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു.
ഹൈദരാബാദ് ഐഐടിയുമായി ധാരണാപത്രം ഒപ്പുവെച്ച് Oppo. 5G, AI എന്നീ ടെക്നോളജികളിലടക്കം റിസര്‍ച്ച് പ്രമോട്ട് ചെയ്യാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാണ് ധാരണാപത്രം ഒപ്പിട്ടത്. ടെക്നോളജി ഇന്‍ഡസ്ട്രിയില്‍ ബിസിനസ് വളര്‍ച്ച കൈവരിക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷത്തേക്കാണ് ധാരണാപത്രം ഒപ്പുവെച്ചത്.
