SBI ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് വീണ്ടും VRS scheme നടപ്പാക്കുന്നു. 30,190 ജീവനക്കാരെയാണ് VRSൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതെന്ന് റിപ്പോർട്ട്. 11,565 ഓഫീസർമാരും 18,625 മറ്റ് ജീവനക്കാരും VRS പരിധിയിൽ വരും. പെർഫോമൻസ് പീക് കഴിഞ്ഞവർ, കരിയർ സാച്ചുറേഷനിലെത്തിയവർ എന്നിവർക്ക് ഗുണകരം. ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് ഡീസന്റായ എക്സിറ്റ് നൽകുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. ചിലവ് ചുരുക്കൽ നയത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് voluntary retirement scheme. 25 വർഷം സർവീസ് പൂർത്തിയായവർക്കോ 55 വയസ്സായവർക്കോ VRS എടുക്കാം. ഡിസംബർ ഒന്നു മുതൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി അവസാനം വരെയാണ് അപേക്ഷ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നത്. VRSന് ശേഷം രണ്ടു വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞ് ബാങ്കിന് വേണമെങ്കിൽ re-employment നടത്താം. ശമ്പള ഇനത്തിൽ 1,662.86 കോടി രൂപയോളം SBIക്ക് VRS വഴി നേട്ടമുണ്ടാകും. March 2020 പ്രകാരം SBIയിലെ ആകെ ജീവനക്കാർ 2,49000 ആണ്.

EdTech, FinTech, Health-tech, Digital Economy & Smart City മേഖലകൾക്ക് പ്രാമുഖ്യം. ‘Atmanirbhar’, ‘Digital Economy’ initiatives & solutions എന്നിവയ്ക്കാണ് പ്രഥമ പരിഗണന. പ്രാഥമികമായി Seed Fund ആയി 25-50ലക്ഷം വരെ സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പുകൾക്ക് നൽകും. രാജ്യത്ത് ഡൊമസ്റ്റിക് സർവീസുകളുടെ എണ്ണം കൂട്ടാൻ എയർലൈനുകൾക്ക് അനുമതി. കോവിഡ് കാരണം ആഭ്യന്തരസർവീസുകൾ വെട്ടിച്ചുരുക്കിയിരുന്നു. വേനൽക്കാല സർവീസുകൾ നിലവിലെ 45%ത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 60% ആയി ഉയർത്തും. പ്രതിദിനം 2000 ആഭ്യന്തര സർവീസുകൾ നടത്താനാവുമെന്ന് DGCA. മുംബൈ,കൊൽക്കത്ത,ചൈന്നൈ വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളിൽ സർവീസുകൾ കൂട്ടും. മെയ് 25 മുതലാണ് ആഭ്യന്തരവിമാനസർവീസുകൾ പുനരാരംഭിച്ചത്. നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങളിൽ ഇളവ് വരുത്തിയതോടെ യാത്രക്കാർ വർദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു. പ്രതിദിനയാത്രക്കാരുടെ എണ്ണം 1121 ഫ്ലൈറ്റുകളിൽ 1.2ലക്ഷമായി വർദ്ധിച്ചു. കോവിഡ് കാലത്ത് വിമാനയാത്രകളാണ് കൂടുതൽ സുരക്ഷിതമെന്ന് DGCA. നിയന്ത്രിതപ്രവേശനവും യാത്രക്കാരുടെ വിവരങ്ങളിലെ കൃത്യതയും യാത്ര സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുന്നു. ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ റൂട്ടിൽ നിയന്ത്രിത ഫ്ളൈറ്റ് ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തു‌ടരും.
