Investment limit for MSMEs will be revised upwards. Rs 50,000 Cr in equity for viable and eligible MSMEs. Rs 20,000 Cr for stressed MSMEs via subordinate debt-based scheme. Additional criteria for turnover to be brought in for MSMEs.

Samsung India to deploy Samsung Finance+ services at home. Samsung Finance+ is a digital lending platform. It provides financial help to Galaxy brand customers in India. In India, the service was developed at Samsung’s R&D facility in Bengaluru. Samsung Finance+ service is now available across 12K dealership centres across 300 cities.
Lockdown: India’s industrial output shrank by an all-time low in March 2020. Index of industrial production contracted by 16.7% after lockdown. Output of manufacturing sector went down 20% whereas electricity generation fell 7%. Industrial output had recorded a growth of 4.5% earlier in February 2020. The findings were released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
