India joins Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence on AI as a founding member. GPAI is a multi-stakeholder initiative to guide the responsible development of AI. Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and many more countries are members. GPAI will work on leveraging AI to recover from COVID-19. GPAI promotes responsible and human-centric development and use of AI.
SBI sanctions Rs 15,000 credit under GECL for MSMEs. 1.5 Lakh MSMEs will avail the benefit. SBI has so far disbursed loans worth ₹8,700 Cr under GECL. Maximum tenor of GECL is four years from the date of disbursement. Loan amount maximum is capped at Rs 5 Cr.
