India Government’s policy think tank NITI Aayog envisages to launch a portal on procuring public data with various ministries to the private organisations mainly start-ups. The data is availed for innovations on addressing specific problems on particular sectors like agriculture and transport. NITI Aayog’s CEO Amitabh Kant has said that the Aayog will soon launch a new portal that will open the public data for private companies especially startups to come up with innovative sector-specific innovations. Data analyzing start-ups are benefited more by this portal. The method of analyzing data by Web portal is currently under deliberation. The data which are helping to boost up researches and innovations are shared with startups. This data research will be utilized on advanced technologies like artificial intelligence.The data sets, documents, services, tools and applications published by various ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India will be accessed through a single window point by this portal.
