Chinese tech giant Xiaomi enters electronic vehicle market. Xiaomi launched electric bike Himo T1 in China. Himo T1 is a one-button start vehicle, priced at Rs.30,000. Himo T1 runs on a lithium battery with a capacity of 14,000 mAh & nominal voltage of 48V. India is encouraging use of electric and hybrid vehicles through FAME scheme.
