Majid Al Futtaim pledges to eliminate single use plastic by 2025. Majid Al Futtaim is a UAE-based retail giant lifestyle provider.The company will phase out plastic items from its malls, hotels, carrefour stores and cinemas. Carrefour stores will take 500 mn plastic grocery bags out of circulation each year. On-shelf merchandise like garbage bags, detergent bottles & cleaning products will still be available for customers.
