India’s startup ecosystem had a proud moment on the 71st Republic Day with a tableau of Startup India being paraded as part of the celebrations. Built under the theme, ‘Startups: Reach for the sky’, the float was put together by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry & DPIIT. The tableau depicted the process of startup idea execution and impacts innovations leave in the life of the people of India.
The float explains all-round support provided by the central govt for each startup. It has been a mix of modernity and tradition. The front part depicts ideas from creative minds. The Startup India Tree describes the support provided to startups.
The staircase denotes a startup’s journey from concept to scaling up. The rear wheel indicates other sectors of the Indian economy. The map in the tableau illustrates the extent of startup movements.
