IIT Hyderabad-incubated startup introduces e-scooter EPluto 7G. Launched on the IIT Hyderabad campus by dignitaries. The startup, Pure EV has made an aggressive foray into e-bikes & Li- batteries. EPluto 7G is designed to suit the Indian terrain. EPluto 7G is a premium electric two wheeler designed to give the most comfortable ride experience.
The EV is launched at a showroom price of Rs 79,999. EPluto 7G comes with portable batteries for swapping and easy charging. The electric vehicle has a range of 116 km per full charge. Pure EV has already been chosen as the service provider by the prestigious players like Pharmaceuticals Companies, Real Estate Groups, Universities, Hospitals, Residential Communities, NGOs and Schools.
The e-scooter has a top speed of 60 Kmph and battery warranty for 40,000 KM. Pure EV has a manufacturing capacity of 2000 units per month. The startup has a 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility co-located with IIT Hyderabad. Pure EV has in-house facilities for manufacturing and testing of batteries. It aims to deploy over 10,000 Electric Vehicles on the road in 2020.
