Kerala govt. Announces Rs 20,000 Cr financial package to fight the pandemic. The govt will give Rs 2,000 Cr loans to families through Kudumbashree. Rs 2,000 Cr will be distributed via rural employment guarantee scheme. Govt to give two months of social security pension in advance . State govt has earmarked around Rs 1,320 Cr for the purpose . Rs 1000 will be given to BPL and Antyodaya families without pension . Free ration would be given to all for a month. Govt to execute the 1000 subsidised restaurant plan quickly. Meals will be given at Rs 20 instead of Rs 25. Rs 500 Cr will be provided to Health Department to fight Covid-19. Rs 14,000 Cr will be set aside to clear all arrears of govt sectors
