E-commerce players can’t sell non-essential items during lockdown 2.0. New move comes after govt revised the e-commerce guidelines. Vehicles of the firms will have to get necessary permissions to operate. The companies were told to resume operations after April 20. However, there was no clarity over distributing non-essential items. While Flipkart & Snapdeal were to resume non-essentials’ delivery, Amazon had sought clarification on the same.
