After Govt of India bans 59 Chinese apps, alternatives are creating waves in the market

Although AppStore and Google Play Store didn’t send any notification, the apps were removed from searches. The Centre banned 59 Chinese apps citing security reasons in the wake of the recent conflicts on the border. Meanwhile, apps substituting the Chinese apps have already entered the market. Mitron and Roposo have been trending replacing China’s TikTok. Similarly, file transfer apps like Filesgo have filled the gap left by SHAREit. Let’s take a look at some notable alternatives for the banned apps:

  • · UC Browser- Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera
  • · Clash of Kings- Lord Mobiles, Age of Kings, Envoy, War and Order
