Electric buses hit the roads in Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Project for 40 e-buses is executed by NTPC subsidiary NVVN Ltd
Buses were flagged off by Lt Governor D K Joshi
E-buses will help cut tailpipe emissions as well as provide comfortable transport
NVVN will also provide 90 electric buses for Bengaluru under Smart City project
It is also developing charging infrastructure in multiple cities across the country
