Zoom launches $100 Mn fund to invest in startup software companies that use its technology

The video conferencing platform became popular last year during the pandemic

The fund will make investments of between $250,000 and $2.5 million

Intends to encourage developers to create new functions like digital whiteboards for sketching

The fund will also be open to companies that want to tap Zoom’s cloud-based video systems
