IIT Delhi startup develops reusable antimicrobial mask called NSafe. The startup named Nanosafe Solutions is behind the Nsafe mask. The triple-layered mask is capable of mechanical filtration, antimicrobial decontamination and repulsion of aerosol droplets. NSafe mask has 99.2% bacterial filtration efficiency. The mask is comfortable and breathable & can be used up to 50 launderings. Nanosafe Solutions plans to launch the mask at MRP of Rs299 (Pack of 2) & Rs 589 (Pack of 4).

Rapido launches on-demand P2P delivery service Rapido Box. Bengaluru-based Rapido is an e-mobility startup. Customers can pick or drop food, groceries and medicine via Rapido Box. The service is to ensure that people never run out of essentials. Base price of the new service will be Rs 35 for 2 km and Rs 15 per kilometre after 2 km.
Kerala launches e-database showing fish landing centres’ proximity to COVID hotspots. The database is launched by Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI). It offers visualisation of all the 156 fish landing centres in the state. They will be classified in colours on the basis of their distance from hotspots. The GIS database will be available at www.cmfri.org.in.
IIT Alumni Council launches India’s first COVID-19 testing bus. It will help people in dense urban areas to access affordable rapid testing. The first-of-its-kind vehicle is developed through indigenous Kodoy Technology. The bus has a low dosage X-Ray, AI teleradiology and contactless swab collection. It also has a wireless robotic ultrasound probe.
