Chinese SUV maker Great Wall to invest Rs 7000 Cr in India. Great Wall has registered an Indian subsidiary unit for the purpose at Gurgaon. The company has also made its presence in Russia. Former Maruti Suzuki executive Kaushik Ganguly will head the Indian product strategy of Great Wall.

Norway-based financier Nordic Microfinance Initiative to strengthen its Indian presence. NMI aims to raise its India exposure to 35% from its fourth fund. NMI is the product of a collaboration between Norfund and IFU. The financier raises capital from non-state investors like DNB Livsforsikring, Ferd and more. About 30% of NMI’s global investment will be in India.
