Cab aggregator Ola acqui-hires AI startup Pikup.ai. Bengaluru-based Pikup.ai will join Ola as part of the deal. The tie-up is aimed at delivering innovations that improve safety and customer experience. Pikup.ai uses AI and computer vision to provide seamless AI-powered business solutions. Ola is increasing its focus on advanced analytics and tech to provide futuristic mobility solutions.
Wipro partners with Intel to launch edge AI solutions. The three-edge solutions are pipe sleuth, surface crack detection and medical imaging. The solutions will help firms in energy & utilities and health market to boost their AI adoption. Pipe sleuth will eliminate the need for manual review & coding in pipeline infrastructure. Surface crack detection will find out and label cracks in roads, buildings and bridges. Medical imaging uses AI to detect abnormalities in X-Rays and CT scans.

Parle Biscuits invests in FMCG startup WIMWI Foods. Bengaluru-based WIMWI Foods aims to introduce global healthy food choices to Indian homes. WIMWI will use the capital to grow the range of its flagship product, ASAP bars. The company plans to strengthen its retail distribution network and reach 50K retail points.
ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ അഗ്രി ടെക് സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പുകള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നേറ്റമെന്ന് NASSCOM. ലോകത്തിലെ ഓരോ ഒമ്പതാമത്തെ അഗ്രി ടെക് സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പും ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളതെന്ന് NASSCOM റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. 450ലധികം സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പുകളാണ് രാജ്യത്തെ അഗ്രി ടെക് സെഗ്മെന്റിലുള്ളത്. ഈ വര്‍ഷം ആദ്യ 6 മാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ഈ മേഖലയ്ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത് 248 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറിലധികം ഫണ്ട്. കഴിഞ്ഞ പത്ത് വര്‍ഷത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ കര്‍ഷക വരുമാനത്തില്‍ 1.7 മടങ്ങ് വര്‍ധനയുണ്ടായതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു. 50 ശതമാനത്തിലധികം സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പുകളും മാര്‍ക്കറ്റ് ലിങ്കേജ് പോലുള്ള സപ്ലൈ ചെയിന്‍ സൊലൂഷനുകള്‍ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നു.
