Schools to reopen zone-wise in India from July. Classes would commence with 30% attendance. Classes will begin first in orange and green zones.Students of primary classes will have to stay back home. Official guidelines for the process will be released this week.

Rs 3 Lakh Cr Guaranteed Emergency Credit Line for MSMEs is now operational. GECL will help MSMEs avail cheaper and easy working capital credit. There would be a one-month moratorium on principal, but interest is payable. Eligible MSMEs and other businesses can avail the credit. Guidelines are issued by the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Ltd.
The Supreme Court allows Air India to conduct flights with middle seats filled till June 6. An AI pilot had complained in Bombay High Court that the airline doesn’t follow safety measures. Bombay High Court had issued an interim order asking AI to keep middle seats vacant. The centre and AI had then moved the Apex Court challenging the order. Non-scheduled flights after June 6 will operate in tune with Bombay High Court’s interim order.

Startups to be a part of the curriculum in UP colleges and universities. Aim is to motivate youngsters to take up entrepreneurship. Final year U.G and P.G students can take one year leave to take up internships. The UP Government will encourage students to establish enterprises on their own. 1 lakh students will be included under the program in the first year.
