AAI issues standard operating procedure for domestic flights’ resumption from May 25. Walking through for thermal screening station set by the airport authority is compulsory. All passengers except children below 14 must be registered with Aarogya Setu App. The airport operators should make appropriate arrangement for sanitisation of baggage before entry. The AAI manages more than 100 airports across the country.

Google App introduces ‘Dark Mode’ theme. Dark mode is now available on Android 10 and iOS 12/13. Once the feature is live, the app should default to dark mode automatically. Users who haven’t installed it on a system-wide level can find it on the settings bar. All users will be able to switch to the mode by end of the week.

ISRO gets patent for its highland ‘Made in India Lunar soil’. The artificial moon surface was prepared as part of the Chandrayaan-2 project. The highland soil was created to test Vikram lander and Pragyaan rover. ISRO took the anorthosite rocks from Sithampoondi & Kunnamalai villages in TN. The patent is valid for 20 years from 2014.

With the central government amending a few sections of the Companies Act, minor defaults and mistakes made by directors of companies will no longer be considered as a criminal offence.
