WhatsApp launches chatbot in collaboration with IFCN. IFCN chatbot will help users fact check all the coronavirus-related messages. The initiative will connect people with independent fact-checkers in more than 70 countries including India. The IFCN’s bot provides users with a global directory of fact-checking organisations. It is also capable of identifying the user’s country with the help of the mobile country code. Initially, the chatbot will be available only in English.
