Serum Institute (SII) sought permission from DCGI to make Sputnik V in India

SII has applied for test analysis and examination
Once these permissions are received, Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) would be required
Currently, Dr Reddy’s has tied up with Russia’s RDIF to make the Sputnik V vaccine in India
Dr Reddy’s received the EUA for Sputnik V in India on April 13
The first consignment of the vaccine was imported to India last month
