The Bachchan family has proven their excellence in many films. However, unbeknownst to many, the family have hit success in their business ventures also. Amitabh Bachchan tried his hand in business through a production company, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd in 1996. Amitabh Bachchan’s screenplay is one which defeats all setbacks. He invested in two companies, Ziddu and Just Dial. Just Dial is a local search platform based in India. Ziddu is a marketplace for decentralized contracts. Amitabh’s investment in Just Dial accounts to Rs 6.27 Lakhs. Within 4 months, his share value in Just Dial rose to Rs 6.45 Crore. Bachchan invested $71 Mn in Ziddu.
Abhishek venturing into sports
Abhishek has invested in two prominent sports companies. Chennayin FC, an Indian Super League team is under the ownership of Abhishek. Chennayin FC has won the league championship twice in 2015 and 2017. He also owns Jaipur Pink Panthers, a Pro-Kabaddi league team.
Aishwarya Rai, donning the role of investor
Aishwarya Rai, the daughter in law of the Big-B and wife of Abhishek is another star-turned business person from Bachchan family. Aishwarya recently invested in Bengaluru based environmental startup, Ambee. Rai, along with her mother has invested Rs 1 Crore in the startup.
