What women founders should focus on right from the registration of the company was the highlighting factor of second edition of WING- Women Rise Together. The event, held at Integrated Startup Complex, Kochi witnessed students getting exposed to startup advise from industry experts at the workshop. Company matters which women founders should know and challenges faced during company growth and funding were discussed at the event.
WING – Women Rise Together workshop conducted jointly by Kerala Startup Mission and Startup India. The workshop is aimed at encouraging women participation in entrepreneurship.The program aims to equip about 10,000 women entrepreneurs through workshops, incubation, investors and various business support services. The workshop, conducted at Integrated Startup Complex, Kochi witnessed participation from industry experts and women entrepreneurs.
Kerala Startup Mission authorities explained about ideation, product development, funding sources and incubation facilities to the students and startup founders. Founders shared their experiences during their startup journey to the students.
Aspiring women entrepreneurs among the student community along with early women founders took part in the second edition of WING – Women Rise Together workshop. KSUM in consortium Lets Venture will co-ordinate WING’s south India operations, Startup Oasis in the west, IIT Delhi FITT in the north, KIIT-TBI in the east and Singex in the north-east. KSUM will lead the WING’s operations in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
