സൈബര് സെക്യൂരിറ്റിയില് എഫക്റ്റീവ് സൊല്യൂഷന് കണ്ടെത്തുന്ന സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പുകള്ക്ക് 5 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ഗ്രാന്ഡുമായി കേന്ദ്രസര്ക്കാര്. ഡാറ്റാ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി കൗണ്സില് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുമായി സഹകരിച്ചാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കുകയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് ആന്ഡ് ഇന്ഫര്മേഷന് ടെക്നോളജി മന്ത്രി രവി ശങ്കര് പ്രസാദ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സൈബര് സെക്യൂരിറ്റിയില് ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ഇന്നവേഷനുകള് പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ് നടപടി. ഡല്ഹിയില് ഏഷ്യാ പസഫിക് കംപ്യൂട്ടര് എമര്ജന്സി റെസ്പോണ്സ് ടീം (APCERT) ഓപ്പണ് കോണ്ഫറന്സിലാണ് രവിശങ്കര്പ്രസാദ് ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.
സൈബര് സെക്യൂരിറ്റിയില് ഗൗരവമായും ക്രിയേറ്റീവ് ആയും ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുന്ന പിഎച്ച്ഡി വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികള്ക്കും സര്ക്കാര് ഫണ്ട് നല്കുമെന്ന് രവിശങ്കര് പ്രസാദ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഐഐടികളും ഇന്ത്യന് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയന്സസും ഉള്പ്പെടെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രധാന 100 യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റികളില് ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുന്ന ഏഷ്യ പസഫിക് മേഖലയിലെ വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികള്ക്കാണ് ഫണ്ട് നല്കുക. ലോകം ഡിജിറ്റലായിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ അതിനൊപ്പം വളരുന്ന ചലഞ്ചിംഗ് മേഖലയാണ് സൈബര് സെക്യൂറ്റി. നൂറിലധികം സൈബര് സെക്യൂരിറ്റി പ്രോഡക്ട് കമ്പനികളാണ് ഇന്ത്യയില് ഉളളത്. ഡിജിറ്റല് മേഖലയിലെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ച് പുതിയ സൊല്യൂഷന്സ് തേടുകയാണ് സര്ക്കാര് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്.
ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഡിജിറ്റല് ഇക്കണോമിയില് ഹൈ ഗ്രോത്ത് ആണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. വരുന്ന അഞ്ച് വര്ഷത്തിനുളളില് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഡിജിറ്റല് ഇക്കണോമിയില് കാര്യമായ മുന്നേറ്റമുണ്ടാകും. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ സൈബര് സെക്യൂരിറ്റി സര്ക്കാരിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഫോക്കസ് ഏരിയയാണെന്നും രവിശങ്കര്പ്രസാദ് പറഞ്ഞു.

Well, here is a reason for start-ups to smile from the cyber security side. The Central Government is planning to promote and support the start-ups working in cyber security. Union minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad announced that the government is planning to provide Rs. 5 crore to start-ups doing innovations in the field of cyber security. He also mentioned that innovation in cyber security is a big focus of the Government. He added that the government will offer PhD scholarships in cyber security to candidates from Asia Pacific, who do their research in any of the 100 leading universities of India, including IITs, IISc and other universities.
