Accelerating the Electrification of Flight അഥവാ ACCEL എന്നാണ് വിമാനത്തിന്റെ പേര്. 300 mph വേഗത്തില്‍ ACCEL സഞ്ചരിക്കുമെന്നും കമ്പനി. സാധാരണ വിമാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രൊപ്പല്ലറുകളെക്കാള്‍ കുറഞ്ഞ റെവല്യുഷസന്‍സാണ് ACCEL പ്രൊപ്പല്ലറിന്. യുകെ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍, ഇലക്ട്രിക്ക് മോട്ടര്‍ കമ്പനിയായ YASA, Electro flight എന്നിയുമായി സഹകരിക്കാനും Rolls-Royce. 6000 സെല്ലുകളും കൂളിങ്ങ് സിസ്റ്റവുമുള്ള ബാറ്ററിയാണ് വിമാനത്തിനുള്ളത്. 250 വീടുകള്‍ക്ക് ആവശ്യമായി വരുന്ന ഊര്‍ജ്ജം ബാറ്ററിയില്‍ സംഭരിക്കാനാവും. ഷോര്‍ട്ട് ടേക്ക് ഓഫും ലാന്റിങ്ങും ACCEL വിമാനത്തിന് സാധിക്കും. 2020ല്‍ ബ്രിട്ടണില്‍ വിമാനം അവതരിപ്പിക്കും.
